about
'I want to inspire people to enjoy themselves, to pay attention to their desires and to offer their bodies as much pleasure as possible.
For me, there’s a very strong connection between the sensual pleasures of scent, touch, taste, sound and sight - and sex. Sex is erotic but so is putting ice cream in your mouth. So is feeling sound move physically through your body when you’re at a concert, or noticing how beautiful an object on your bedside table is every time you wake up. I want The Sensual World to explore this expanded idea of eroticism. The forces of mainstream culture are very disembodying - we’re always being asked to give our attention to digital space - which is ephemeral and elsewhere. I want to place more emphasis on being in a body, in space.'
